Women in Litterature

Awakened Women

Women in literature have been portrayed in a multitude of ways throughout time.

From goddesses, saints, prudes, mothers, magicians, priestesses, to witches, and even prostitutes, women have not been limited in their representations.

One challenge, in particular, is the repression of their sexuality.

In novels by Kate Chopin, George Orwell, and Kazuo Ishiguro, female characters live in societies that seek to regulate their sexuality.

Orwell was the first, just after Freud, that considered up loud that Women might be sexual beings and not only reproductive beings.

Seems crazy now,

But is it?

Those two, stupefying neurologist/psychiatrist and writer, went so deep in their analysis of the human psyche that they were actually predicting the huge danger for society when repressing female sexuality.

And there we are, in the middle of thirst of power and money, destroying nature and any real spiritual paths, where Love is replaced by temporarily satisfaction, frustration and therefore permanent human suffering, wars, loss of wisdom and of all common sense.

"Sexually awakened women, affirmed and recognized as such, would mean the complete collapse of the authoritarian ideology."

Wouldn't be the time to understand the true meaning of female sexuality and its direct link with the environment, healthy, caring, loving & sane equilibrium between genders, Creation itself?

What do we want at the end of the day, all of us?

Peace.

Therefore let's start with respecting, learning and understanding the supreme, more than important and divine role of female sexuality in all its aspects into the actual ignorant materialistic, superficial world, away of all the insanity and dirty image this patriarchal society continues to put on Women's shoulders.

There will never be peace without Awakened Women in the world 🌎
